Capt. Chandanlal Special School for the Blind is located in Gurgaon, India. The school has a total of 122 children including 67 boys and 55 girls. The students have been showing creditable results in each and every class State Board Examinations. For the year 2009 – 2010, all the 11 students cleared class 8 examinations securing 81.4% to 66% marks. Similarly, all of the 11 students passed class 5 examination obtaining 84.4% to 63% marks. The school students also performed well in extra-curricular activities and contests winning 40 prizes including 11 First prizes in competition with their sighted and blind counterparts.

The school has a well developed geography room, science lab and touch-and-tell museum continued to be a source of great educational value for the visitors including student-teachers and serving teachers from several educational institutes.
